About Thomas Maxwell
American Musical Artist
Thomas Maxwell, or “Max,” his friends call him is an upcoming singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, currently based out of New York city. Some of his Influences include Mo-town successes, Mac Demarco, Mac Miller, Tame Impala, The Gorillaz, FKJ, The Beatles, Steve Lacy, and many others. His biggest influence in music growing up was Mac Miller, due to his ability of expressing himself for who he was. Thomas grew up in Darien, a town 40 minutes outside of NYC. From an early age he played the piano, moving to trumpet and cello. He stopped playing in his teens to focus his energy elsewhere. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Economics, he moved out to Boulder CO to start a software sales job. He realized fairly quickly, this wasn’t the path he wanted to take.
